Firefly — regulatory capital, reimagined
South African insurers must hold capital against six categories of risk under the SAM/QIS regime — intricate calculations, riddled with exceptions, that change every time the regulator does. We built Firefly: a transparent calculation engine that business users can reconfigure themselves, with no code changes, when the methodology shifts. It accepts data in any format, so no new feeds are needed, and deploys to a client's servers in hours.

Püre Pharmacies
Eight rural pharmacies on an ageing COBOL system. We wrote a nightly Java pipeline that scoured, cleaned and consolidated every store's sales into one database — turning a two-week month-end into T+1 dashboards with full drill-down.

Real-time regulatory trade reporting (SA's answer to Dodd-Frank / EMIR), counterparty credit-risk on Adaptiv, historical Value-at-Risk and a cross-system valuation model library — across treasury and investment-banking systems.
